 Whether enjoying the quaint town of Flagstaff from other parts of the region, or visiting the beautiful Southwest USA from other parts of the world, don`t miss a chance to stay at this truly unique and charming home!   It is the right location off of Historic Route 66, for enjoying our artsy, hip, small university town – Downtown!  Mount Humphries, with top-notch downhill and cross-country skiing opportunities in the winter, and hiking and biking and much more in the mountain Spring, Summer and Autumn, is just minutes away. Cherry Hill is the perfect all-year-round base-camp for exploring all of the exquisite natural beauty & cultural richness that Northern Arizona has to offer.
 
Located in the lovely Cherry Hill neighborhood in Downtown Flagstaff, you can easily walk to a wonderful selection of excellent restaurants, cafes, local brew-pubs, bistros, wine bars and distilleries.  Browse our unique local shops, outdoor markets, galleries, bookstores.  Enjoy the outdoorsy, casual and friendly vibe that Flagstaff is known for.
 
The house is owned by one of Northern Arizona`s notable landscape/wildlife photographers, and is adorned with his work, which provides a lovely personal touch.  You will enjoy viewing (& perhaps visiting!) some of the beautiful areas of Northern Arizona that he has showcased in his hand-selected images displayed here.
 
This picturesque property sits handsomely amongst the majestic Ponderosa Pines. This is a two-story home with a large, fenced backyard.   
 
All of the living areas are on the second level. This provides a setting that feels like you are in a "Treehouse."   You can see the glorious SAN FRANCISCO PEAKS from both the house & back deck.
 
This is not a cookie-cutter home, it is a one-of-a-kind, special, vintage home. You will find "true" hardwood, tile and slate floors, lots of windows that provide warmth and light throughout.  The second level has gorgeous vaulted ceilings and the family room includes a massive stone wood-burning fireplace.
 
The galley kitchen with a "Retro Feeling" is utterly eye-catching and provides all things needed, for preparing delicious meals.
 
There are four very impressive bedrooms, two on each level.  All are delightfully stylish and adorned with art.  The upper level includes the master bedroom that is equipped with a king size bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed. The lower level has an additional bedroom, with a queen bed. There is also a very modish bedroom, that sleeps four people. There are two twin beds and a futon couch that folds out into a bed.  It is a very hip room, that also includes a wall-mounted flat screen television. This room is ideal for anyone. It is certainly a great place for the younger Guests to hang out and have fun. The family room couch also folds out into a full bed, accommodating an additional two people.
 
There are two full bathrooms, one on each level. The upper level bathroom is extremely large and includes two sinks. Even the bathrooms are full of vintage beauty and charm, while remaining functional.
 
There is a gorgeous deck with gas barbeque grill located on the second level, accessed off of either the upstairs family room area or the spacious backyard below.  The deck provides plenty of space to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal, while taking in the scenery & quiet.  There is plenty of room to move to the lower level to play a game in the large, fenced backyard.

 You won’t see us, though we are always available by phone, text or email.  
 
The Neighborhood
 
 Cherry Hill is the perfect location for exploring Flagstaff:  Take a walk around the peaceful, forested neighborhood, or walk 5 minutes to quaint, historic & hip downtown.   The neighborhood is very quiet (even with the train station close by)!  You are a short walking distance to fantastic restaurants, cafes, bars & shops.  Northern Arizona University & Flagstaff Medical Center are also within walking distance.    
 
Many hiking and biking trails are accessible nearby.  Enjoy the slopes/ downhill skiing at the Arizona Snowbowl , a 20 min drive.  Great cross-country skiing at Nordic Village is slightly farther up the road.  For star gazers and history buffs, Lowell Observatory, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and the Pioneer Museum are also a short drive from the house.  
 
Make AMAZING DAYTRIPS to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Petrified Forest National Park and Meteor Crater.   Explore Arizona’s rich cultural heritage & diversity by visiting the Navajo & Hopi Reservations, the cliff dwellings at the Walnut Canyon National Monument, or Native American pueblo sites at the Wupatki National Monument.   Reflect on your adventures with a delicious meal at one of Flagstaff’s popular eateries, or settle in at home for a quiet meal & a fire in the gorgeous fireplace.
 
 Getting Around
 
Parking is available in our driveway for up to 4 cars.  Uber and the public bus are easily available.   The Amtrak station is within walking distance to the house (uphill), for those exploring the American West by train.

Great house walking distance to downtown

We had a great stay at this house with two families. The upstairs bathroom setup was a little weird and there were a few minor issues, but overall the property is clean and it’s prime location makes it a great choice for those with larger parties looking to be walkable to downtown. Management staff was very responsive and even delivered a pack and play for our baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Treehouse was great!

Location was great, can walk to downtown easily which was great for dinners and meetings. Lots of space to spread out, nice kitchen with good coffee. My group was in town for Overland Expo, and this house did not disappoint.
