Beautiful home away from home....a quiet, relaxing getaway for anyone!!! Enjoy the beautiful sunrise or sunset from the deck or stay inside on the couch. The house has vaulted ceilings, 3 bedrooms- one is a master suite with a walk in shower/bath, bathroom on main floor is a spa shower, full kitchen to cook your favorite meal, dining and a nice living room to just sit back and relax. The yard has a large deck area with grass. The house is surrounded by walking trails and a creek across the street. It is a very peaceful getaway place!!! My favorite is to sit on the back deck with my coffee and book watching the view!!! The house has a grill and a fire pit to enjoy outside. (Right now there are Fire Restrictions). The house comes with WIFI.

Zen retreat with Grandpa
What a wonderful time we had. The hostess has every accommodation and thoughtful touch you can think of. The home is perfect furnished and located with amazing views. My family did not want to leave. Very short hike down to the creek. Slight confusion of property lines and accessible areas along the creek. The highlight of our stay was looking at the stars at night and the most restful nap ever on the balcony with the trees whispering to me. Thank you for an awesome stay. We will be back.

Amazing cabinet a remote area with a fabulous yard
Our family met together for a Thanksgiving weekend. This house is beautiful and it is located in a remote area that we loved. We knew to be sure to take what food we needed because it is a ways to Payson. The kitchen was stocked well with all of the cooking supplies. There was plenty of seating in the living area as well as outdoor furniture. Be sure to bring your binoculars. We saw elk every morning on the mountain looking off of the back porch. I rated this place a 4 out of 5 stars because of two major concerns. One being the driveway leading to the parking area of the house. The driveway is fairly steep with ruts in it from other vehicles struggling to get to the parking area. My SUV has only front wheel drive and it was loaded in the back. With that being said, it took me four tries to drive up to the parking area. I didn't leave until check-out because I didn't want to try to make it up that driveway again. Another pickup in our group struggled as well. I think a cement or asphalt driveway would be helpful. The other reason for a four-star rating is that the owner would never respond to my messages. I never received message when I first booked. About a few days before our check-in date I sent another message about check-in information. Still no response. I eventually called Felicia. She was very nice and helpful on the phone, but she told me that she never responds to the messages. Overall, I would rent this place again. It's beautiful and a very nice place.

Beautiful view, but hard to find
Our family rented the cabin for a birthday get away, we were a total of 6 adults. When we walked in the front door the view was breath taking. The house itself was very nice, clean, and updated. We loved the open space and very comfy living room. Their was plenty of living space to accommodate us all. The kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much anything you could think of. Overall it was a nice stay but like one of the previous reviewers we also felt there were a few areas that could be improved. A little tip, it takes about 50 min to get to the cabin from the hwy and it's all dirt roads. Once it got dark we were unable to close the electric blinds because the remote did not work. The kitchen window had no kind of curtain or blind so the kitchen was in full view and you could look into one of the bedrooms. We did not know what half of the switches were for and agree it would be helpful to have them labeled. A few really cool features did not work, for example the outside fire pit did not turn on, the awesome cappuccino machine was broken and we never figured out how to turn on the fireplace in the living room. The back yard is covered in artificial grass and it looks like a miniature putting green with golf clubs strewn about. They had really nice lights strung up in the back yard that we could never figure out how to turn on even though we tried the ON/OFF switch that controlled the other outside lighting. We had a difficult time starting up the gas grill but luckily my husband was able to find the quirk. We too were faced with critters getting into the trash and making a mess. For me the one thing that was really troubling was that the bedding in our room (Queen Bed) looked very dirty and badly stained. We attempted to wash it and we were greeted with wet, smelly towels and sheets left in the washer for what seemed like days. We had to take another blanket from the top floor bunk and sheets left in the dryer. It was not a very comfortable bed and I felt a like icky. I think had we not been faced with dirty blankets I would have been able to look passed the rest but that's just one of those things that I don't want to have to worry about. I do want to mention that we contacted the house supervisor a few times and she got back to us right away. We called to report a few things that were broken (lawn chair, glass) and she did offer to have them fixed the next day which was really nice.
