The condo is located in a family friendly and beautiful resort style setting with an incredible courtyard perfect for playing games or relaxing on the deck while you grill your favorite steak or seafood. Swimming pool is encased with a cool top surface that never gets hot and is surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. Lounge chairs are provided at the pool.
While sitting on your private balcony you can hear and see the emerald blue waves roll in onto one of the most beautiful white sand beaches North Carolina has to offer. The beach was recently re-nourished resulting in one of the widest beaches in the North Carolina. Also from the balcony you can see the ships sailing into the sound and watch the kids play/swim at the pool.
The beach is a short stroll across the courtyard and take the boardwalk over the dunes. If you like collecting shells or walking/running on the beach, take a left and head down to the Point which is approximately 1.3 mile walk along the pristine coastline.
During your stay, you can visit Fort Macon State Park which has a newly built historic museum and is free to the public. Also visit The NC State Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, or head over to Shackelford Banks where the horses run wild and the fishing is superb. Morehead City Boardwalk to also a must see where local fishermen bring in the daily catch. There are also numerous golf courses in the area.

Exactly as described.
There were no surprises at Licence To Chill. The pool was amazing, Atlantic Beach was great, the unit was clean and well stocked, and the views from the balcony were exactly as described from the listing. I highly recommend this rental! The only thing that I think needs to be mentioned in the listing early on, is that the unit is on third floor with no elevator. I could see that being a problem for some folks. Thankfully, noone handicap in my party.
Fun condo will be great when community construction is finished
Great condo for the weekend. There is still a lot of construction on the community but the only way it impacted our stay is that most of the stairwells are closed including the one right next to this condo making for a much longer walk. Would be a great 3rd floor location when they open that back up. Also would recommend spraying for bugs due to cockroach, spider and mosquitos inside the condo. Otherwise cute decorations and nice view with all you could need. Mattress cover had some dirt on it so questioned if it was cleaned but just simply removed. We also enjoyed the 12pm checkout allowing time to enjoy the community amenities. Would stay again.

Perfect ending to our NC bike trip!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Being right on the beach, we had time to wander about in the sand and surf before dark. Very cozy and inviting, clean, and a welcome sight after being on a bike and sleeping in a tent all week! A wonderful patio with a view of the beach and gorgeous pool. The owners were in touch with me beforehand to give me up to date info and responded to my questions immediately. My only disappointment was that we had only one night there due to our schedule. I highly recommend this condo, loved it!! Thank you Anita!
