The beaches and Miami nightlife are just minutes away from your private, luxurious guest cottage, with your own heated/cooled pool and garden to relax in while planning your next day’s adventure.
Our cottage is a completely detached guesthouse with a private entrance. The cottage consists of a large bedroom with a queen size bed, adjoining spacious sitting room and private bathroom (approx 700 sq. ft. total). Flowing white sheers and a wall of sliding glass doors open onto the pool--heated or chilled to your taste--which is exclusively yours to use during your stay. The entire pool and garden area are completely private from our neighbors.
Amenities include high speed wi-fi, Nespresso coffee maker, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, iHome radio/ipod player, Sony portable bluetooth speaker and luxurious linens and towels.
Off street, covered parking is provided. You can get to Miami Beach in about ten minutes by car and you can get to South Beach in about fifteen minutes by car. Numerous restaurants and bars are within a five minute drive. Miami International Airport is 15 minutes away by car, Ft. Lauderdale International airport is 25 minutes away by car.
No pets please. Smoking is not allowed in the guesthouse but is allowed outside by the pool/garden.
Professional massage services by a licensed massage therapist are available on premises including poolside. If you are interested in massage during your visit please inquire in advance about availability and to schedule your appointment(s).
UPDATE: As a result of helpful feedback from our guests in May 2017, we installed retractable shades in the guesthouse,
which, in addition to the existing sheers insure our guests complete privacy and comfort.

I was only disappointed that we didn't get to stay here longer. My husband had a conference in Miami so I decided to tag along and the only thing I wanted was a quiet, private place to get some sun and catch up on some rest...Joe's house nails it in epic fashion. First, checking in is like having a concierge...he meets you with the keys to your private quarters and explains everything in the room so you'll feel completely at home during your stay. The room is extra large, clean and well appointed with luxury linens. I have a horrible back issue and I always worry about staying away from home because of the bed...the bed in this room is SOOOOooooo comfortable, not even just the mattress but also the pillows and linens, you won't want to get out of it. When you do though, you'll want to walk into the pool. I stayed out there for hours just floating around, enjoying the sights and sounds of the surrounding flora and fauna (it's so lush and tropical). I was just so relaxed the entire time I was there. When we got up in the morning, we walked down to the Dunkin Donuts that's a very enjoyable stroll through this absolutely lovely and safe Miami Shores neighborhood. There isn't a TV but the wifi is strong so if you can't disconnect bring an ipad so you can netflix and chill...we didn't miss not having one at all and if you're staying in a VRBO in Miami you probably won't miss it either. There are a lot of choices in Miami of places to stay but I can almost guaranty you won't find one that has such a great location, ease of parking, comfortable and spacious room, privacy and VALUE at such an affordable price...do yourself a favor and just book here already.

Peaceful and comfort
Had a great time. The property and neighborhood are quiet and clean and I had plenty of privacy throughout my stay. The pool is great and the sitting area is also very comfortable. Everything was immaculate and I felt right at home. The private entrance and parking area is a nice bonus. If I find myself back in the Miami area I know where I'll be looking first!
