All furnishings including beds, couches, kitchen cookware / dinnerware etc etc. are brand new and feel fresh and clean as a summer house should be! The house itself also has seen updates including fresh paint in every room, refinished or new wood floors on the second floor, new central air on second floor, new cooktop, a brand new mahogany front deck, updated light fixtures and electrical, a brand new on demand hot water heater (don’t worry about being the 10th person in a row to shower!) and many many more updates. Sleeps 11+ comfortably in two king beds, two queen beds, a twin with pull out trundle and a day bed in the upstairs family / TV room. The twin bedroom also has a full size crib for little ones. Four of the five bedrooms (plus upstairs family / TV room) let you sleep comfortably with the 2nd floor central A/C and the downstairs fifth bed with window A/C is well separated if you have a heavy snorer in your group! The master bed (king) features a full en-suite bathroom and 12’ vaulted ceilings with skylight. There is a second full bath on the second floor with both tub and shower and a half bath with laundry downstairs adjacent to the living room. Please note that linens (bed sheets and towel sets) are not included but can be rented and delivered through a third party service. The home has 2 King, 2 queen, 3 twin and one crib size sheet requirements. Please contact us for recommendations on a linen rental if needed – we can not post this information in this listing. While you won’t be disappointed if you are stuck inside on a rainy day the outdoor patio and yard are the place to be during the summer. Nearly 100% of the 0.63 acre lot is filled with mature landscaping and ready for backyard games and family fun. A 500 sq ft bluestone patio features landscape lighting for use at night, a brand new natural gas high end Weber grill (fed off the house so no fear of running out of propane), Sunbrella patio seating for 10 surrounding a fire pit, and a dining table for 6. Pets are considered and are well contained with a 4’ fence surrounding the yard. An brand new oversized outdoor shower with hot water around the corner on the back side of the house completes the yard.
In addition to the outdoor space, there is a three season indoor porch with French doors off the living room with a 10’ dining table and seating for 14+. A perfect space for eating, playing cards and games or just extending out the living room!
The charming kitchen with farmhouse sink features a stainless steel dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator and microwave, a double wall oven, and plenty of pantry and counter space at an island with seating for 2. An iMac is also present for recipes, internet and music. All cookware, utensils, dinnerware and flatware are brand new and completely understand if you decide to skip cooking all together and order / go out to one of many of Harwichport’s great restaurants within walking distance.
Once you are all beached out and want to just relax, the family and dedicated play room are a great place to hang out and are spacious enough for the whole family. The oversized living room features two full sized couches plus additional seating and opens up to the indoor porch ensuring there is room for everyone.
Should you insist on staying “plugged in” while on vacation, this home is completely updated with technology and offers 100mbps internet via Wi-Fi, a 21” iMac for internet, a 49” 4K UHD TV with HD cable, Apple TV and 4K Roku 4 (Netflix, Hulu etc) in the living room, a 40” Smart (Netflix, Hulu etc.) HDTV in the upstairs family room with Nintendo Wii as well as TVs (either smart or with Roku) in all bedrooms with king or queen beds. A Bluetooth radio is also present on the first floor – just connect your own device and hit play!

Harwich Port House
We loved the house - the location to town is great. It is well supplied with everything you need from beach chairs to kitchen necessities. It is so tastefully decorated and comfortable for a large family. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for family gatherings and meals. We loved our stay and will come back!
