Description
Come stay at one of the largest homes in Marathon. If you want luxury and a few upgrades, this is the place for you. Enter the home to a breathtaking entry followed by an open concept living and dining. Kitchen is fully furnished with all high end appliances, and seating available for 12. Tons of natural light, and LR and kitchen both open to a huge backyard with a wrap around porch. Plenty of outdoor seating for you to rest and relax. The formal dining opens to another private setting for grilling, or just relaxing. An exercise room with a 60 inch tv available for you to use at anytime, or not. You are on vacation! There are 1 & 1/2 bathrooms downstairs as well as a laundry room. Upstairs, all 4 bedrooms have their own private bathroom. We know how important it is to have a good night sleep, so all beds have high end Serta I-comfort mattresses. Two of the bedrooms open to private balconies. King mattresses in two of the rooms, and Queens in the others. The master bedroom has a 65 inch TV as well as a massage chair. Master bathroom is over sized with a Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy! This property is within walking distance to downtown Marathon, where you can take in all the sites, or do some shopping at the quaint little gift shops. Visit the Historic Gage Hotel and restaurant, and the new Brick Vault Brewery and Barbecue for some over the top food. Love pizza? Visit Big Bend Pizza, and see all their fun decor. Big Bend National Park is less than an hour away, so you have time to enjoy the day, or two or three, and come back to your Home Away to rest and relax in luxury.

Marathon-Casa Grande
We had a great time on our Big Bend "girls' trip". On our down time from running around, all 6 of us had plenty of room to congregate and each of us had our own space and bathroom. The beds were all comfortable. We had everything we needed!

Thanksgiving trip to Marathon and Casa Grande
We truly enjoyed our stay at your property. We also enjoyed the cats in the carport! Made sure we fed them each day since we saw the food in the utility room and assumed it would be okay. A couple of things that I would address - the toilet in the master bath needs attention since it constantly runs and seems to have a problem flushing. We stayed in the 2 bedrooms with king sized beds - didn't even go into the other 2 bedrooms except a peek when we first arrived. It would be nice to enhance the lighting in the bathroom in the front bedroom with the king bed - I actually used the bathroom off of the kitchen because the lighting was better. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! Thanks, Barb Burger
