Also included in the rental is use of many amenities at the Bayside Villas complex, such as a pool/hot tub/lanai facility, beaches, grill and cooking area. Also less than a walk to access locally renowned South Village Rum Bar and Grille Doc Fords, in addition to downtown Captiva Village.

Guest Access:
Included in the rental of this unit is the use of the many amenities at the Bayside Villas complex, including a large heated pool, hot tub, grill and cooking area as well as all South Seas beaches and grounds. The unit is located within a five minute walk to the locally renowned South Village Rum Bar and Grille Doc Fords, in addition to downtown Captiva Village where one can enjoy great dining at the Bubble Room, Keylime Bistro, Mucky Duck, and more! No need to drive!
Access to greater resort amenities such as the pool on the opposite end of South Seas, the trolley, the Harborside restaurant and Sunset Beach Bar is not provided. Our repeat guests prefer staying with us over booking through the resort as you are GUARANTEED the unit you book online, what you see is what you get! The majority of the above listed amenities are located more than three miles from the South Village, where your unit is located, and thus impractical to travel back and forth too often.

The Neighborhood:
The Bayside Villas complex is situated directly next to downtown Captiva, but also within South Seas resort, giving guests a great taste of old and new Captiva.
Getting Around:
You can park anywhere in the underunit garage, there is also golf cart parking outside of the building.
Interaction with Guests:
We utilize a smartlock system, the code to which you will be given the night prior to arrival. An entry pass will be left at the South Seas Resort gatehouse for you, from which you will be directed to your unit. We provide guests with as much privacy as they would like, yet are available in an instant as needed to address any issues, large or small. We are available through phone, text, e-mail, and in person any time assistance is needed and are equipped to handle any guest request.

Lovely end to the summer
This Villa is the perfect size and price for two people to enjoy a beach getaway. It's clean, cute, and has the amenities to make moving around the island easy and fun. The wagon with beach gear was perfect! Biking to Starbucks for breakfast was the perfect start to my day. Everyone on the South Seas Plantation was friendly and helpful. We used the store for lunches and snacks. Then thoroughly enjoyed dinners at The Bubble Room and R.C. Otters. Sunsets on Captiva beach fill the soul. We'll be back.

Captiva vacation with boyfriend
Rental process was quick and easy. Condo was clean and equipped with everything necessary (cooking supplies, beach gear, towels). The only thing we brought ourselves was a cooler for the beach which is necessary. Check in process was easy using a code to enter into the condo. It was difficult at first to find the 4000 building but that’s no fault to this rental just South Seas in general. The bikes were a huge plus we used them often to get into town for restaurants and to check out the manatees at Jensens. The pool was literally right next door and was perfect when to hang or just cool off. The only negative I had was that there was a door in the bedroom that was accessible from the outside that was able to be completely opened only stopped by a door jam. Again, I know this is South seas issue but a little freaky that someone is able to open your door and look in while your sleeping if they wanted. We just piled our suitcases in front to keep it from opening. All together the experience was great and we would definitely be back again.
