Very cozy and clean

Loved this cute little place right in the heart of Vail Valley. So nice to come home to after long days in the sun.

Great location, Not

Let's start with the good: The location is so convenient. You're in the center of everything, which is really nice. It's also quite affordable compared to some of the other options out there. It's nice to have a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs.
Now to not great, but ok: The place is dated - it's definitely no-frills. The fridge isn't full-size (it's kind of like a mini-fridge with a little bit bigger of a freezer). The bedroom with two beds upstairs doesn't have a closet or any kind of dresser...it's literally just the two beds in there.
Now to the bad: There's no A/C, so if you're staying in the summer, it can be HOT (even when the weather outside is nice) and LOUD. We opened up all the windows and were still roasting at night upstairs. The bedroom with two beds has a tiny window that barely props open so there's no airflow. There's also a ton of street, pedestrian and restaurant noise...that might be better in the winter with the windows closed, but the condo is directly over restaurants and boutiques, so it's really loud.
For families: We have two young children (a one-year-old and three-year-old), and would never stay here again as a family. The only way into the condo is a flight of narrow stairs (no elevator), so stroller transport is really tough. It was impossible for the one-year-old to sleep in the bedroom because of noise, so he ended up sleeping in the pack and play in the bathroom. The curtains are also really thin, so there's still a lot of light during kid nighttime in the summer.

Hidden gem

Amazing location right in the heart of Vail Village. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Regardless of the cons below the location and space this offers over a single hotel style room is awesome. No A/C - we brought a fan and were able to regulate the temperature so we werent too uncomfortable. Cleaning- Found dirty dishes, full trash can, and dirty socks from the previous renters. The place was visibly vacuumed and cleaned other than that but not a fun surprise. Noise- There’s a bell tower within about 50 feet of the condo and the bells start at 8am. Outside noises in general were more noticeable but with the windows closed it’s bearable. There are two staircases to access the unit. The one next to the Pizza place is easier and more direct. Vail started charging for overnight parking so plan on an extra $25 per night if you plan to use the public lots.
