There are very few properties that please ones senses as soon as you step in and it just feels like home.
This is one of the houses that appealed to our senses after having looked at over 50 properties before we decided to buy this one. This house is about the right size with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an Office that can be used as a bedroom. It exceeded our expectations with luxurious granite countertops thru out the house, a fully finished walkout basement with a bar and a home theater, beautiful cherry wood floors on the main level, 18 foot ceilings at the entrance etc. The kids will love the home theatre in Basement, and the house offers excellent opportunity to play hide and seek. There is also a city park, rec center with pool, gym, shopping malls nearby. Couple of hours drive from major ski areas where you can ski, snowboard, snow tube, or ride on snow mobiles etc. We sincerely hope you will enjoy staying with your friends, family and build wonderful memories with this house as a backdrop.
We have priced the house very low so smaller families of 2-3 people can afford it as well as large ones. When we host bigger group, we have greater costs for laundry, hot and cold water usage, greater cleaning costs, more supplies. more wear and tear on the property as the number of people increase, So we charge modest additional per person fee to recover these costs for hosting larger numbers of people. So please make sure to select the correct number of people on your reservation, we really want to avoid any disputes. This is a huge house and it's rare that people need a house this large. The best way to look at the price is to look at your cost per person per night and compare it with alternatives. If you have any question or have special situations where some people will only stay part of time, please contact the property manager and they can do the custom quote for you depending on your needs. We do allow certain pets however there is a flat pet fee, kindly let the property manager know about them before booking.
The space
Main floor has large covered porch, Grand entrance, Dining room, Gourmet Kitchen with large island, granite counters, stainless appliances and cherry wood cabinets. From the kitchen you can access Covered deck which has a grill, few chairs and table. It also has roller shades to block sunlight on hot sunny days. You can enjoy the mountain views from the deck. The neighborhood has many young children and so smoking of any kind on the deck is not allowed.
Most of the main level has Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, windows covered with cherry wood blinds.
2nd Floor,
Has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. 2 regular bedrooms have large format 4k TVs. Only one bedroom doesn't have a TV. Master Bedroom has king size bed, and has attached 5 piece master bath. There are good mountain views from the master bedroom also. There are couple of reclining chairs to lounge and enjoy reading or continue watching your favorite tv shows on Netflix/Amazon.
Basement,
Has a Large bar, compact refrigerator, sink, stainless steel dishwasher with top notch granite counter top and an extra large projection home theater system with surround sound with sound proofed (insulated) ceiling for the best movie experience.
Basement also has a dining table for 6, full bath, gym and a small bedroom with full bed. Walk out to the paver patio and backyard.
Overall there are 6 beds - 1 king, 4 Queen and 1 Full size bed. The living room sofa also has a full size sleeper bed. That allows a capacity of up to 14 people to sleep comfortably. The rates vary depending on dates and number of people. Kindly select the correct number of people when making the booking. We have kept the base rate low so small families can also afford to stay at our house.
All TV's have apps, plenty of content from Amazon & Netflix to keep everyone entertained. Any digital purchases made will be deducted from your deposit.
Basement also has a Gym room with 3 exercise machines and some weights.

Conveniently located close to Colorado and 136th Ave in Thornton. You can user this address for planning: 13700 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO 80602. Everything is close by, 24/7 Kingsoopers, Orchard mall, Target, Walmart, Costco, Variety of restaurants and other shopping centers.
30 mins drive downtown Denver (18 miles) or Boulder(22 miles) or Longmont(24 miles), Eldora Ski Resort (50 miles) Loveland (38miles), EstesPark (56miles), Silverthorne (81 miles), Breckenridge (94 miles) .
20 - 30 Mins drive to DIA (Denver International Airport - 22 miles) - Uber, Lyft, Airport Shuttles and Taxis are available pretty much any time of the day.

Family friendly neighborhood, very close to the park, children's playground and Miles of interconnected trails. With this being a family friendly neighborhood.
Guests are expected to follow the Covenants of the community. A copy of the HOA covenants can be provided upon request. We are Serious about this... Absolutely NO smoking, Vaping, or Marijuana or use of illegal drugs anywhere on the property (inside nor outside), there is a school less than a mile away and neighborhood has lot of young children. We take any complains from our neighbors very seriously and have promised to remove any guests that cause nuisance to the community. There is neighborhood watch and law enforcement officials living close by.
Please note, due to few bad experiences where people tell us they will have 2 people, whereas they had 20 people party at our property based on neighbors complains, we have installed security system that overlooks all entries into the house. We have also had a break-in at one of our other property while empty thru open window so in order to protect our guests and also to protect us and our employees from any legal liabilities we had to do that.
Also note, we are invested in this property for the long haul, so we are constantly looking for ways to enhance our guest experience and comfort, so any suggestions for things we can add or improve upon are most welcome, we can't promise we'll implement every suggestion however we will definitely try.
Access: Guest can access the entire house except utility & storage closets and cabinets in Garage.
Interaction with guests:
We will send you a code to the front door that will be valid for the duration of your stay and other check in instructions few days before check in date.
No Hot Tub - Sorry!
A lot of folks have asked us to add a hot tub but currently we do not have a way to ensure the hot tub stays hygienic with so many people using it. The last thing we want is to let anyone get sick. Safest place to use hot tub/sauna will be at the rec centers 10 mins away where they maintain it professionally and regularly.

Seriously, the best home away that we've ever rented. Beautiful house, lots and lots of room, and the guys loved the projection TV for the football games on Saturday. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating, if I emailed a question I got an answer immediately. We had 6 adults and a 7 month old, there was a pack and play for the baby so it was nice not to have to haul something for him to sleep in. Nice neighborhood too. We were there visiting our son and his fiancé who had recently moved to Louisville. I can't say enough about this rental, and we can't wait to go back. Thanks for making our trip so lovely.

Property was clean, modern and well maintained. Great kitchen if you want to cook. Plenty of room to spread out. Beds all very comfortable. Most things you need right down the street including a grocery. Easy access to the expressway to get around Denver. Definitely recommend for a larger group. Very much as advertised. Host helpful with question we had about operating TV remote.

This was one fantast
We had 7 adults and 4 children and we had a fantastic stay, The house is close to a park and grocery store. We visited Denver, went to a basketball game, went to the Aquarium and shopped. Bolder was 30 minutes away! I highly recommend this house and Shri, our landlord was a dream to work with! Thank you VRBO and Shri for this amazing Thanksgiving week.
