This charming, completely renovated and newly-furnished apartment is conveniently located. It is only four blocks from Rhodes College, the Memphis Zoo and Brooks Museum. There is easy access to Downtown and Beale Street. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, only a few yards from the Greenline, a hiking/biking trail. The apartment has a washer and dryer, a fully-equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee-maker and coffee and tea are furnished. The living room has cable TV. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. The sleeper sofa is a queen-size also and can accommodate two.
Convenient location is one of the primary appeals of this property. It is only steps from the Greenline, a walking/biking trail that goes out to east Memphis and downtown to the west. The Crosstown Concourse is a million square foot complex that is only a 15-20 minutes walk on the Greenline. The Concourse has restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop, galleries, and much more!
There are two restaurants only a short walk away, Cafe Eclectic (great coffee and breakfasts, lunches, and dinner) and Dino's Italian. There is a convenience store on McLean as well. The Getaway is 3.5 miles from the Pink Palace Museum, 9 miles from the Dixon Gallery and Gardens and Botanic Gardens, 6.5 miles from Graceland, 13 miles from Shelby Farms. Of course, the Memphis Zoo, Overton Park and Overton Park Shell are within walking distance.

Neat, clean house in
Lovely duplex in nice neighborhood . Took 10 minutes or less to get anywhere we wanted to go. Very comfortable bed. Easy to communicate with owner. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Colorful decor, cons
Though the cute interior was definitely appealing, it was the consideration of the owners that bump this home into the 5 star ranking. Their info book gives photos of the remotes and clear instructions on how to use them. Especially important when 2 significant football games are on during that full tummy slump on Thanksgiving night. I also appreciated that they added a sturdy shower grab bar whenever they remodeled the bathroom. But they showed their thoughtfulness in another way as well. Since it was a Thanksgiving stay, I needed to know if the kitchen included a certain tool we would need for prepping our assigned side dish. Though they apparently keep one in stock all the time, they brought over a 2nd before we arrived. We will definitely be returning to this place whenever we come to see our daughter.
