Reviews

The house is charming and cozy.

There were some repairs in progress in the house and on the grounds which is why I gave 4/5 stars. The owner and manager we're very friendly and eager to help. Close to lots of restaurants and the college. The train is right behind the house, so it is loud at night when it passes.

The price is right!

The owner was kind and welcoming. The house was spacious and met our needs well. And like I said in the title, it was right in our price range. I'd be open to staying there again. However, I was somewhat surprised to find that the dining chairs were rickety and one actually fell apart. There were no handsoaps or other typical amenities in the bathroom. The TV situation was a bit janky too, hooked up incorrectly (which I fixed -- you're welcome), and with no remote for the DVD player. There is also a train that runs nearby. It didn't bother me, but I could see how that might wake up/annoy someone else.
